It’s been an interesting month.

One I didn’t see coming.

A lot of one step backs in hopes of two steps forward.

I miss my puppy, desperately.

I’ve always loved sad songs, but this month I learned it’s OK to be sad.

Thank God for friends that understand my grief and gave me space.

I feel so unworthy to have a wife overflowing with so much compassion and love.

This was the hardest day of my life. I can promise you, you’ll never know a love and dedication like me and this dog shared. I could tell you all about why, but even then it wouldn’t be even close to enough for you to grasp. He saved my life. Literally, mentally, and spiritually over and over. A reason to keep the lights on when I was ready to turn them off myself. He’s greeted me after every test, class, shift, first date, heartache, move, every written lyric, and every gig. A Damn. Good. Dog. Lord, I pray all dogs go to Heaven, because he deserves nothing but sunshine, long walks, long car rides, and PayDay bars.

My best friend.

My heart outside of my body.

My Partner in crime.

There would have never been enough time. Never.
